[경력] Li&Fung Logistics : Operations Excellence

1. Support process excellence by improving productivity, quality and lowering costs of the operation within LF Logistics Distribution Centers by identifying, defining, and implementing process and operational improvement initiatives.

2. Support solutions design initiatives for small to medium size business development or process improvement projects, and also support initiatives to standardize solutions across the region, working closely with the in-country solutions design teams to coordinate.

As a “Subject Matter Expert” this position will be highly involved in the development and execution of related training programs for both productivity improvement and for solutions design.
Measure of success will be improvements over baseline, translating these improvements into labor dollars saved, and satisfying country operations teams who need support of the regional OE team.

The role will report to the Country Head of Korea

Productivity Improvement– Using LF Logistics productivity improvement methodology, drive year over year improvements in operational efficiency. This includes on the floor assessments of DCS operations and the generation of potential improvements. Candidate will analyze financial justification of major operational investment and projects and relentlessly drive programs and initiatives for productivity improvements and labor cost reductions for the company.

Solutions Design – Develop small to medium sized DCS solutions for both strategic business development and productivity improvement projects. Define and drive operational best practices. Assist the DC Managers on forming the network of operational leaders from countries who work on best practice validations and the standardization of DCS solutions.

Staff Training – Training and development of local resources by designing, developing, and facilitating key training & development programs. Share process improvement programs or operational best practices among the Operational Leadership Council.

At least 8 years of relevant experience in Operations Excellence role in Logistics Company (including 3PL Operations, Operation Process Innovation Planning & Implementing, Cost Saving, Data Analysis)
Strong ability to understand, communicate with, and effectively interact with people
Good analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills
Native level of spoken and written Korean, business fluent in English
