[경력] Nel Korea : Junior Procurement Specialist

 

 

- Keep the shipment plans up to date ensuring on-time delivery aligned to project schedule
- Prepare and review the freight documentations from the support of the Danish colleagues and Project Execution team
- Take required steps of applying for the import inspection in cooperation with Project Execution team and local authority as necessary
- Arrange customs clearance and pick-up of import shipment in coordination with logistics local agents and forwarders
- Customs clearance of items in cooperation with Korea Customs Administration
- Verify and treat all logistics related expenses such as forwarder and broker fees, custom duties, taxes and others in cooperation with Finance team
- Search and collect the newest local importation policies from customs authorities
- Source third parties of mobilizing local transport equipment and place orders to ensure all materials and equipment are delivered in time
- Coordinate with the Danish colleagues and custom on preparation of tools, consumables and containers onsite
- Serve as the primary procurement and subcontract interface between our project team and supplier community
- Interpret prime contracts and define aligned flow-down clauses incorporated in standard subcontract forms
- Conduct source selection process involving market price investigation and analysis, terms and conditions negotiations on all subcontract types
- Create and release the request for proposal packages to receive quotations
- Lead technical and commercial evaluations verifying bidders’ qualification in collaboration with Project Execution team
- Negotiate quoted prices and finalize the subcontract agreement with selected bidder
- Place purchase orders and award subcontracts in a timely manner along with updating track records
- Keep in close contact with Finance team ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices
- Coordinate with Project Execution team to verify compatibility with our equipment and manage timely inspection of goods on order as required
- Track and monitor change orders with vendors and subcontractors on a real time basis
- Develop and manage a designated group of products and suppliers locally sourced to ensure a secure and sustainable supply chain is established

 

 

Degree in business administration, supply chain management or similar 
Good knowledge and demonstrated competency in importation, customs clearance, tariff, forwarding, brokering and local regulations as well as in all phases of procurement and supply chain management 
Multiple projects’ experience in logistics and procurement or subcontract management on EPC/EPCM delivery model 
Good knowledge of working within established procedures, instructions, as well as codes and standards 
Good knowledge in structured writing of procedures and instructions for procurement and logistics 
Proficient with MS office, CAD program utilization skill 
Good understanding of Document Management Systems and ERP systems such as Dynamics NAV, Oracle or SAP 
Process oriented and open-minded to new solutions 
Communicate fluently in both written and spoken English and Korean

Responsible for the international trade logistics operation in designated area, including but not limited to finished goods, raw material, sample import and export.
Manage the Freight Forwarders and customs broker performance to ensure a reliable service provided to business. Closely monitor customs clearance efficiency, demurrage and detention etc.
Broker screening and evaluation based on Lubrizol requirement and standard. Ensure the I/E operation is fully compliant with Trade Compliance regulations.

Continuously improve logistics process efficiency and resiliency by leveraging available technologies and tools.

Support functional leader to define Broker and Freight forwarder sourcing and operation strategy, e.g. sea freight and airfreight.
